Job overview

ABC Teachers, part of TES, are a leading supply agency in the East Midlands currently recruiting for a Geography teacher to start at a fantastic school in Ilkeston ASAP.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Geography Teacher who will engage and motivate the high achieving pupils of a fantastic secondary school in Ilkeston. The role is to start ASAP on a long term basis.

Particular praise is given to the behaviour and attitude of the students of the school. Geography is a popular subject across the school and it is evident when in the classroom that they are keen to learn.

Based in the Humanities department, you will be required to teach Key Stage 3 to  Key Stage 5. You will be fulfilling the full role of the teacher and therefore planning, preparation and assessment will be your responsibility. You will be expected to work 5 days a week – the timetable has been finalised.

ABC Teachers offer a competitive rate of pay and a personal service. You will be assigned to an Education Consultant who deals with the schools in your geographic location specifically, so you will never have to travel further than you wish. We work with schools exclusively and are able to offer positions that you would not find advertised anywhere else.

If you are interested in this position, please contact Lewis Bowens today on 01332 219 051 or 'Apply now' to submit your details.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. All staff will hold an enhanced DBS disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you), need to provide professional or academic references and attend a face to face interview. A prohibition from teaching check will be completed for all applicants. Telephone calls to and/or from ABC Teachers may be recorded for training, safeguarding and compliance purposes.
