New Rickstones Academy is seeking to appoint a Geography teacher. New Rickstones Academy is graded ‘Good’(May 2018) and has a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. We have a committed and ambitious team and have been very successful at developing teachers and leaders with progression both within and beyond the academy.

About New Rickstones Academy

New Rickstones Academy is a secondary school based in Witham.  This is an exciting time to join New Rickstones Academy as we continue to expand. Over the last 8 years, student numbers have more than doubled, leading to oversubscription and the addition of a new building in September 2022 to accommodate the growing demand.

We maintained our 'Good' OFSTED rating in 2023.  Whilst learning is our core aim, mutual respect and fantastic working relationships between students and staff is what makes New Rickstones Academy what it is.

New Rickstones Academy is a great place to work with modern facilities and a friendly and supportive staff team. The academy is proud to boast high staff retention and development.  We have an extensive and hugely successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programme to further develop our excellent staff.
