Applications are invited for a new Housemistress to join the existing Hodgkinson house team and manage this girls’ boarding house. 

The successful applicant will ideally have had boarding experience and look forward to embracing the opportunities and challenges that are present in running a boarding house in a 24/7 full boarding school environment.

This is a rewarding pastoral role responsible for approximately 40 boarders between the ages of 13 and 18.  The successful applicant will be responsible for the physical, emotional and spiritual welfare, discipline and development of the pupils in the House by acting in loco parentis.  In addition to House duties, the successful applicant will be required to teach a reduced timetable and make a strong contribution to the broader life of the school.
