Job overview
An opportunity has arisen to be an integral part of the central services team of our Multi Academy Trust which currently supports four academies and the Board of Trustees to help deliver outstanding opportunities for our children and their families.
We are looking to appoint someone to support the Governance Officer and provide both clerking and administrative support to our governing body and committee meetings.
Excellent communication skills are required to liaise between a range of parties such as board members, governors, head teachers, teaching staff and support staff.
You will often be dealing with confidential information, so will need to be trustworthy and discreet in order to meet our data protection obligations. You should be used to using your own initiative and be proactive in completing tasks promptly, whilst being adaptable to keep up with the unpredictable nature of the workload where demands may frequently change.
You will need to be computer literate and have a flexible work ethic that will allow you to fully support the needs of the role which can include regular evening support for official meetings and governors training. As such, this role may best suit someone who resides in reasonable proximity to our schools.
