Governance Officer

King's Leadership Academy WarringtonTrust Based

Trustees are seeking to appoint a highly strategic ‘Lead Governance Professional’ to join an outstanding team. The starting date for this position is as soon as possible.

The Great Schools’ Trust has five academies with a further two in development.  The Trust is non-selective and was founded on international research and traditional values.  As a result of successful expansion, Directors now require a leader to support the various committees including the Local Advisory Council for each academy and the Board of Trustees.  We believe that strong governance is an essential feature of successful academy leadership, making this a very important position within our organisation.

As a Trust we are unique in our approach, in that we seek to develop character and leadership skills in our staff and students.  For the successful candidate, this represents a rare opportunity to join a caring team of outstanding practitioners, dedicated to each other’s well-being and the future of every child in the Trust.

The closing date for applications is noon on Monday 20th September 2021.  Interviews will commence Wednesday 22nd September

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child.  All appointments will be subject to Enhanced DBS checking.

Please return completed application forms to our office manager Mrs Stacey Perrie - s.perrie@kingswarrington.com

If you would like further information about this post or the Great Schools Trust in general Mrs Perrie will be happy to assist.

Good luck with your application.
