Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Government and Politics Teacher to join a ‘Good’ school in the London Borough of Brent. The successful candidate will teach Government and Politics at KS5 and A-Level. The Government and Politics Teacher will additionally be required to teach Year 11 intervention groups. This position will be a part-time role working 2 days a week for two terms starting in January 2019. The school will consider a newly qualified teacher as well as more experienced candidates.

In order to be considered for this role, the Government and Politics teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum within the past two years (crucial)
  • OS-trained teachers welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS / police checks
