We are a team providing a traded clerking service for the governing bodies of Southwark schools. We are looking for a dynamic professional to fill a permanent, term-time only post. You will need to have very good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You must have experience of working with computer systems and software programmes including advanced word-processing. You must have the ability to manage your own work, to prioritise and to meet tight deadlines.

You will be required to produce draft agendas and agendas, attend governing body and committee meetings (mainly in the evening) and occasional exclusion and parental complaint meetings, provide advice before, during and after meetings, write up minutes and carry out follow-up actions.

You should be an experienced clerk to apply for this post. You should have experience of working with schools, and have a detailed knowledge and understanding of a wide range of educational issues.
