Wellington School is seeking a Graduate Assistant Female House Parent to support one of the School’s boarding houses. Providing quality pastoral care to girls aged 11 – 16, a genuine desire to work with teenagers is vital.
This role is coupled with daily involvement within our extensive co-curricular programme. We would be particularly interested in receiving responses from music graduates (especially organists) or those with experience of Pentathlon, however all skills sets will be considered.
This role will be fixed term for one academic tear commencing September 2018 with the potential to be extended. The salary for these roles will be £13,000 per annum plus free accommodation and all meals during term time.

About Wellington School
Wellington School is a Church of England denominational, co-educational, day and boarding school in Somerset. As of the most recent inspection, there were 900 pupils on the school roll. The school’s motto is the opening of Psalm 127; ‘If God Be Not With Us, Our Labour is in Vain’. The Senior School teaches pupils between the ages of 11-18. The school also offers preparatory facilities from the ages of 3 onwards. Founded in 1837 as a boys school, Wellington has been fully independent and co-educational since 1978. The 35 acre site is a combination of traditional and more recent architecture. The school operates in both a boarding and day capacity.
