We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Assistant Teacher of Drama to support our Drama department from January 2017 for a period of 6-12 months.
Assisting the Director of Drama in the life and work of a busy and successful Drama department, this role would suit someone considering a teaching career as no teaching experience or qualification is required.
What is required is someone passionate about Drama, who has a love of learning and who wishes to share that passion with enthusiastic and energetic young people.
This opportunity would suit a recent graduate from university or drama school with ambitions to direct or teach; students at universities or drama schools on a third-year placement; or an actor or director moving from the theatre into teaching, prior to training or first full job.
College accommodation is available, with meals during term time. The salary for this position is £10,000 - £14,000 per annum, depending on whether accommodation is required.
