Job overview
We are offering an internship within school for graduates who are looking to gain school experience before applying for a PGCE/SCITT course for September 2020. This will primarily involve being part of a team that supports educational needs within the classroom, as well as being given the opportunity to deliver lessons and provide cover for absent members of the teaching staff when required.
The role will involve working with the whole ability range of students across all three key stages; at present they are flexible in order that they can be tailored to fit the strengths and requirements of the appointed candidates.
As well as a good degree, you will need good GCSE grades in Maths and English plus at least three other subjects. You will have good organisational and interpersonal skills along with the personal characteristics required to supervise students and work with both the teaching and support staff.
We will offer a wide range of CPD relevant to your needs and support you in securing a PGCE/SCITT placement for September 2020.
