Claremont School is a co-educational, independent day and boarding school for children aged 1 to 18. We have approximately 700 students with a community of approximately 100 boarders from the UK as well as other countries around the world, adding an important international and multi-cultural dimension to the school.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate in Residence (with expertise in Art, Music, Drama or Sport), to contribute to school life and work as a residential tutor in one of two boarding houses. The successful candidate will have a passion for boarding and school life as a whole. The position will require teamwork, flexibility, compassion, resilience and a good sense of humour. Although this is a non-teaching position and holding a teaching qualification is not essential, there will be opportunities to involve yourself in both the academic and co-curricular life at the school, particularly if related to your degree subject. This position could serve as an excellent springboard into teaching or other child-centred careers.
This is a full-time, residential position, with full board and lodging provided as part of the role. Salary will be commensurate to experience. Please note that the accommodation provided is only suitable for a single person, we do not have accommodation suitable for a family or pets.

Claremont Senior School opened in September 2011 and caters for students from 13 to 18 years of age in Bodiam, East Sussex.
It offers a full academic curriculum and a comprehensive co-curricular programme. The ethos of the school is family orientated and committed to the holistic development of each student.
