Job Title: Graduate Resident Assistant
Salary: £10,000 per annum + full board accommodation

We have an exciting opportunity for new graduates available at Taunton Preparatory School from September 2018.
These one-year residential posts provide valuable support to our sports department, classroom learning and boarding house, as well as an exciting and ideal opportunity for graduates considering a career in education in the UK or internationally to experience a year in the life of this energetic, forward-looking and outstanding School.
We are looking for candidates who are able to coach Rugby, Boys Hockey and Cricket along with umpiring to work within our PE/Games dep for the next academic year. There will also be an opportunity to work within our Boarding House.
We aim to offer our GRA’s a memorable year working with lively and interesting pupils within a flourishing co-educational environment. The School will provide full board accommodation in an on-site boarding house or school accommodation during term time. You will also have access to a gym and swimming pool on site, and in this paid role you will also have opportunities for continuing professional development and training. Our GRA’s are assigned a mentor for their year who will provide advice on professional development and working with students both in the classroom and the boarding house.
This experience provides a platform for various career progressions paths; many of our GRA’s are accepted on Teacher Training courses and we have an excellent record in universities such as Exeter, Durham, Bath and other well know universities.
