Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work in a local Specialist SEND School in Huddersfield. This is a fixed term role, which will commence in September 2019 with a view to going permanent for the right candidate (dependant on reference checks and feedback from schools). 

The role

Working as part of a dynamic and creative Specialist team, the Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant  will focus on the young learner, whilst also providing general classroom support for a class of 10 children.

The school

This SEND Provision is looking for a committed and successful SEN Teaching Assistant to join their motivated team. The school cater for students who have a range of Special Educational Needs. This can be a very challenging position however the support network is really strong and positive. The local community is highly supportive of the school and parental involvement is very positive.

Requirements

To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant , you will:

Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a challenging environment.

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.

Be positive and willing to adapt well.

Ideally have experience delivering behaviour management or dealing with behaviour within the past 2 years
