Lord Wandsworth College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Sports Assistant for one year. This would be an ideal position for someone graduating from University with a degree in a sport-related discipline, who is considering a career in teaching. The College is well established in major sports and has excellent sports facilities.
No formal teaching experience is required but a passion for sports and the ability to coach two or more major sports is essential, ideally to include netball.
Key duties will include:
- organising major games;
- assisting with activities and trips;
- assisting with boarding house and other school duties.
£12,003 per year, including holiday pay (based on 28 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays), equivalent to £15,912 per year FTE, plus holiday pay. Single accommodation may be available but would also suit someone living off-site.
