Warminster School seeks to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and innovative graduate to support our dynamic Physical Education and Games Department. Embracing Warminster’s Whole School approach to education, the graduate will focus predominantly on Sports Performance and pupil Well-being.
The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of high-quality PE, the sports scholarship programme, team fixtures and a full co-curricular sports programme to pupils from Reception - Upper Sixth. Knowledge and a background in sports performance or sports science would be advantageous.
- Administrative duties within the Sports department as directed by the Director of Sport.
- Classroom-based assistant within the prep school and core/academic PE.
A commitment to the boarding and co-curricular life of this thriving school is essential.
Accommodation will be provided, linked to this role.
The post also offers the opportunity to gain valuable pastoral experience whilst assisting in the running of a boarding house. This responsibility will include evening and weekend duties during term time for which an appropriate amount of time off will be allocated. Duties will involve supervision of boarders and the overseeing of bedtime and morning routines as well as other duties as directed by the Housemaster/mistress.
