Shrewsbury School seeks to appoint two recent graduates to coach across our male and female crews with effect from September 2019.   

Our rowing is strong, with a national reputation for excellence and a participation. The ability to coach to a good level is the primary necessity, so applications from candidates with a strong background in rowing performance and/or coaching will be welcomed. Some flexibility is possible to accommodate candidates’ interest in developing their teaching and/or Sport Science support. The appointments will be made irrespective of subject specialism.

The successful candidates will be expected to contribute fully to boarding school life.
