Long term supply vacancy - (potential to go permanent for the right candidate - this is subject to feedback from client schools and references)

£65 - £75 (per day) - Salary is dependant on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is 6 weeks relevant experience in a school in the past few years.

We are working with a setting requiring specialist Graduate support staff on a full time, long term basis. 

Monday to Friday 8:30 - 3:30 - supply role

Team Teach training is a requirement for this role (Vision offer FREE training for successful candidates) 

Relevant experience working with children, young people or adults is essential for this role within the past few years. Please contact our friendly team in Huddersfield for more information regarding what experience is essential. 

Teaching Assistants work closely with students and teachers supporting students’ daily activities, well being, behaviour and pastoral needs.

The Graduate support role in a School  role is a demanding one that requires great skill, people skills, patience, professionalism and resilience.

The Graduate will have previous experience and ideally, training in Mental Health, Psychology, SEMH, Supporting young people or Mentoring young people.

This is a Monday – Friday role based upon 35 hour working week (day times).

The Graduate support role in a School role commences initially on a temporary basis; there is potential for this opening to become permanent for the right candidate (dependant on feedback and references)

Applications for the temporary Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant  role are handled by ourselves at Vision for Education.

You will initially be paid on a daily rate via PAYE from ourselves, subject to the usual deductions – Tax and NI.

There will be access to refresh your training with us free of charge - this includes Team Teach Training. 

You will have access to a supportive specialist consultant who has an in depth knowledge of the setting you are working in.

This post commences ASAP - relevant experience working with children, young people or adults in a school or community setting is essential for this role. Vision must be able to obtain 2 professional references from the past few years in order to proceed with an application to interview stage.
