Graduate Teacher 2022

Each year Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton appoints a number of graduate teachers to Kindergartens, Primary and Secondary Schools commencing at the start of each year.  Our Graduate Program is a rolling process with vacancies and offers of employment commencing as early as April through until December. 

Applications are now open for full-time teaching positions for the 2022 school year.  

Applicants who are prospective graduates who are committed to the ideals of Catholic schools and possess the following are encouraged to apply:

• Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate)
• Evidence of successfully passing the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students
• Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
• Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
• A desire to serve the community of Central Queensland

Mandatory Requirements 

• Eligibility to graduate from relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
