Job overview

Join this exceptional independent preparatory school as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with on-site accommodation, starting in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate considering a career in primary or secondary school teaching to gain experience working in a progressive and forward-thinking preparatory school (ages 3-13) with flexible boarding facilities.

The role offers a unique opportunity to develop your teaching skills working with our wonderful and supportive team of practitioners. You will become fully immersed in school life, participating in a wide range of co-curricular activities such as after school clubs, sporting events and some residential trips. You will also be a key member of the school boarding team and will live on site in self-contained accommodation which is available 7 days per week and fully catered from Monday through to Friday lunchtime, with your own cooking facilities during other times.

For this role we are particular keen to hear from graduates with an interest in performing arts, visual arts or music although all disciplines will be considered.
