Redriff Primary School is currently looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to join our team. The role of a Teaching Assistant is to aid the Teacher in delivering curriculum to the class and support the pupils in their understanding of teacher led learning activities. 

We need enthusiastic teaching assistants who will work to nurture the dreams and aspirations of our children. We are looking for graduate teaching assistants who have passion, who are forward thinking and who love working with children. A degree qualification will allow the right candidates to be supported to apply for our Schools Direct programme through UCAS in the future thus gaining Qualified Teacher Status.

 The successful candidate will have a bespoke induction and training programme to support them in their role. You will also be a great communicator, empathetic, enthusiastic, creative and reliable as well as uphold the highest standards across teaching and learning. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential and experience in a school environment is preferred.

This position is term time only. Starting salary will be on City of London Academies Trust payscale grade JE2, scale points 01-05. Full time equivalent range is £22,416 - £23,838.

Actual annual salary will be £19,513 - £20,751 based on 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
