GROOM OR ASSISTANT GROOM

Cranleigh School Equestrian Centre is seeking new staff.

Either full-time, or part-time, working throughout the year, to cover maternity leave.

We would also consider part-time during school hours.

Weekend staff also required.

Cranleigh School Equestrian Centre is a vibrant yard, mainly dealing with children and is part of a School community.  It is a 35 box yard, set in the centre of Cranleigh School with 2 sand schools, a training cross-country course and on-site hacking.

Due to impending staff maternity leave, Cranleigh School Equestrian Centre is looking for a competent, friendly and reliable Groom who is energetic and motivated, to join the team working in our busy Livery Yard and Riding School. 

We would welcome applications from those looking for either full time or part time working. Please state your preference in your application.

Full time work involves a five day working week which will include one weekend day.  

Experience is preferred but not essential and Cranleigh School Equestrian Centre is committed to the continued professional development of all its employees.

Cranleigh is a leading co-educational weekly boarding and day school set in a stunning rural location in more than 280 acres on the edge of the Surrey Hills. In 2015 the School celebrated its 150th anniversary; it has come a long way since its establishment as a school to support the local farming community in 1865.   

Cranleigh’s beautiful campus is exceptionally well equipped, with outstanding classrooms, studio, performance and sports facilities, including three theatres, twelve rehearsal and performance spaces, competition pitches, equestrian centre, sports centres, golf course, outdoor education centre and swimming pool.

Location
Cranleigh’s 280 acre site, situated eight miles from Guildford near the Surrey - West Sussex border, is part of Cranleigh Village and within forty-five minutes of London. 

Heathrow and Gatwick airports are within easy access; there is a fast, regular train service from Guildford to Waterloo.
