Grounds/ Facilities/ Property Maintenance person

The successful applicant will:

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
• currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card; and
• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

The School is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Grounds/Facilities/Property Maintenance person for a fixed term contract for 21 hours per week, days negotiable. The successful candidate should possess appropriate knowledge and experience and a practical hands-on approach to tasks within the maintenance area of the school. Preference will be given to those with applicable trade experience and a background in the building/grounds-keeping industry. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, be highly motivated and have a thorough understanding of safe work practices. A pleasant disposition is necessary for this often demanding role.
