Grounds Manager 

Due to the retirement of the present incumbent, a vacancy has arisen for the post of Grounds Manager at Eton College. This is a significant management appointment and so applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals. The post involves the management of a department of 25 people and is responsible for a significant budget. The remit of the department is wide ranging including the sports pitches of the College (both natural and man-made), its garden areas (many of which are Historic Gardens in planning terms) and its estate land in the immediate vicinity including Dorney Lake.

In return, Eton College offers a wide range of benefits, including an 11% employer contribution to your pension (with 4.9% employee contribution), subsidised lunches, a cycle to work scheme and free access to the College’s sport and leisure facilities.

Salary: £55,000 per annum.

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
