Hazelwood is set amongst 26 acres of glorious woodlands on the Surrey Kent border, within easy reach of London and Gatwick. Being a split site school, the Groundsperson will be based predominantly on the main school site and required, from time to time, to work across the entire school estate

The school wishes to appoint a Groundsperson who will support the Head Groundsman in all aspects of grounds maintenance as well as supporting the schools Estates team when needed.

Applicants should have an appropriate qualification, with a broad knowledge of sports turf/grounds management practices. This position is likely to appeal to someone who will be passionate about further enhancing their own career as well as the excellent reputation of Hazelwood School and its grounds and facilities.

Hazelwood School is an independent preparatory school for boys and girls aged 2½ - 13 years old. The School was founded in 1890 on its stunning 26 acre woodland site overlooking the Surrey Downs.
