This is a group role working across all campuses

We are recruiting a creative, experienced and ambitious marketing professional to lead our brilliant marketing and student recruitment directorate at New City College.

Your knowledge of the market along with up-to-date understanding of relevant channels and excellent practice will enable you to position NCC as first choice, driving potential students to us in their thousands.

With one of the biggest budgets in further education marketing, and an experienced, multi-talented team, you will plan and deliver innovative campaigns that cut through the FE comfort zone. You will lead smooth and effective enquiry and recruitment processes, smash conversion rates and exceed challenging income targets. Needless to say, you’ll also enjoy evolving our bold brand identity and developing our positive reputation.

Considering the extensive range and reach of the college’s work, that is no mean feat.

At NCC, we work hard, work together and get things done. Proactive in your approach, you will maintain strong relationships with colleagues at all levels to achieve shared goals as part of our high performing management team.

In return, you’ll have generous annual leave, a great pension scheme, employee wellbeing and health care schemes and the satisfaction of working in a forward thinking, influential organisation that ultimately exists to give all our students a better future.

Working at NCC will take your career to the next level.

A bit about you:

• You will have a marketing or related degree and ideally, a relevant CIM qualification or chartered/fellow status.

• You will know relevant marketing and promotional channels and opportunities inside out – and you will be committed to keeping up with the fast-paced developments in the education sector and in the marketing world.

• You’ll probably have specific knowledge of student recruitment from working in further or higher education.

• You will have big demands on your time and your talents, so you’ll need experience of managing a similar directorate across a large, complex organisation.
