A vacancy has arisen within the Chesterfield College Fitness Suite for a Fitness Instructor to work as part of the Fitness team. As well as the day to day running of the fitness suite and bookings in the sports hall, it is essential for the individual to provide support and guidance.

The applicant should be capable of providing quality inductions, along with customer programmes and be client focused whilst working in the gym. Therefore, the applicant will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills, along with a professional outlook. Flexibility to work on a split rota is also essential. The hours of work will be Monday – Friday 6:45am – 9:15am and 5pm – 7pm. Additional hours may also be available.

You should have a minimum of a level 2 qualification and experience in leading group exercise sessions. Additional qualifications, including A1 award and GP referral would be an advantage.
