Job overview

A multi-skilled individual is required to join our four-strong Estates team, maintaining school buildings, grounds and a swimming pool at a leading independent girls’ school based in Hammersmith, West London.

The post holder will deal with both routine repairs and planned maintenance, assisting other trades and working closely with Caretakers, Grounds staff and contractors.  Pool Operator training will be available.  The successful candidate will also benefit from:

You must be skilled in general building maintenance and repairs and able to use a variety of hand and electric tools.  You will have a sound understanding of health and safety requirements and safe working practices.  Good team work and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively problem solve and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.  Flexibility to respond to emergency call outs will be required which makes living within an easily commutable distance an advantage.
