Job overview

Founded in 2012, the WLSA Fudan Academy’s (WFA) mission is to develop globally-minded leaders who will help change the world for the better.  WFA enjoys a close relationship with the World Leading Schools Association, which consists of more than 50 schools worldwide working together to lead educational change in the 21st century.

WFA aims to inspire its 344 students to pursue their individual passions through an internationally-recognized and innovative academic and co-curricular program.  The school is not-for-profit and is developing a needs-blind policy, which will give high potential students from disadvantaged backgrounds access to an outstanding education through generous scholarship funding.  WFA enjoys a close relationship with the High School Affiliated to Fudan University (FDFZ), which is widely regarded as one of the best schools in China, and offers a rigorous pre-university program that enables 100% of students to go on to leading international universities.  WFA also partners with Shanghai Xinzhuyuan (XZY) Private Middle School to deliver the International Teaching Program, a preparatory middle school course for 160 students in Grades 6 to 9.

WLSA Fudan Academy now seeks a forward-looking, internationally-minded and collaborative educationalist to lead the school through the next exciting period of its development.  The successful candidate should value the importance of academic rigour as well as strong pastoral care and a broad co-curricular provision in equipping students to flourish at university and beyond.
