Cundall Manor is a highly distinctive day and boarding school welcoming three hundred and sixty girls and boys aged two to sixteen. Situated in an idyllic part of North Yorkshire strongly connected with good transport links, it is a thriving school characterised by its truly unique, friendly and supportive community of pupils, parents and teachers who deeply care about the wellbeing and happiness of each individual. Cundall Manor has flourished over the last seven years under the leadership of Amanda Kirby who is retiring after almost twenty years of exceptional service to the School.  

The Board of Governors now seek a proven motivational leader with a passion for education to take up the post of Head for September 2022. This is an exciting opportunity to build on considerable existing strengths to lead Cundall Manor into a new chapter in its development.  

Energetic and engaging, the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of academic success and excellence in teaching and learning along with the clarity of vision and strategic abilities to lead Cundall Manor with purpose and ambition. Blending a respect for existing strengths with new ideas and an appetite for innovation and creative thinking, the next Head will be a compelling ambassador for the School, enabling all parts of the Cundall Manor community in its continued success. A track record of highly successful leadership experience is essential as is a genuine resonance with Cundall Manor’s ethos.
