Delta Academies Trust is a very high performing multi academy trust based in the north of England, across the Yorkshire and The Humber area. It currently comprises 53 schools, 34 of which are primary, 1 all through school, 2 alternative provision and 16 secondary schools.  

The Trust vision is to change educational outcomes in the North, and it has a philosophy of working in professional friendship with other academy trusts and local authorities. To this end, Delta is one of the founding partners of The Education Exchange, which is currently working with over 900 schools across the North of England.

Strand Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Head of Academy to join our academy in January 2024, or earlier if possible, on a full time permanent basis.  

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the dedication, vision, and drive to lead and inspire. As Head of Academy you will provide leadership and strategic direction to the academy and the wider educational community by ensuring the provision of high quality teaching and learning; high standards and high expectations of students, staff and the community; developing, delivering and commissioning innovative proactive and service for students; developing collaborative links with other academies, schools and the wider education community; and developing a world class workforce to provide the best possible educational opportunity to students. 

Strand Primary Academy is situated in the East Marsh area of Grimsby, less than an hour drive from Hull, Lincoln and Scunthorpe. We are a small, one form entry academy, educating children from the ages of 3 to 11 from the local area.
