We are seeking:

• Candidates with UK or equivalent recognised teaching qualifications, who are thoughtful practitioners and enjoy being part of a team
• You must have at least 1 year of full time teaching experience in classical “Fusha” Arabic and be a fluent Arabic speaker
• Candidates who, ideally, have experience of working within an English Speaking Primary School
• Candidates who have the ability to line manage two other Arabic Teachers and Teaching Assistants

Please note that successful applicants will need to provide an ICPC certificate, a certified copy of their original Education Certificate/s duly notarised and attested by a notary public in their country of issue and a transcript of their university degree and a letter from the university stating you attended in person. These must be stamped by the Qatar Embassy in the country of issue and by the MOFA in Qatar. These documents are required by the Qatari Labour Department when applying for a work visa. (Advice can be provided by the school regarding how these can be obtained).

Interviews will be held by videoconferencing in December/January and shortlisted candidates may be observed in the UK, week commencing 14th January 2021. (Interviews can also be arranged in Doha for those already living locally or via video call).
