Head of Art & Design

This position represents an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified individual to lead the delivery and development of Art and Design within the School.

Durham School seeks to appoint a suitably qualified Head of Art and Design for September 2021. The position is full-time and will suit an experienced qualified teacher who wants to build on a very successful department. The successful candidate will be able to teach Art to A level. An ability to teach design and technology to the lower school years would be desirable but not a necessity. Some experience of preparing candidates for Oxbridge entrance would be helpful but not essential. All staff at Durham School are expected to contribute fully to the extra-curricular and boarding life of this busy and successful School.
