Our Art Studio is an attractive and well-equipped space, and we have a separate building dedicated to ceramics, complete with a kiln. If you are ambitious for art, and would like to work in a school that will support that ambition, we would very much welcome your application.

The Pilgrims’ School and its predecessor establishments have played an important part in the educational history of Winchester Cathedral since Saxon times. Its lineage can be traced back through the schools associated with the Cathedral Choir at least to the Alta Schola, established around 676 AD.

In the school’s latest ISI inspection report (2016), Pilgrims' is rated Excellent, in all categories. Our musical provision is given the rare descriptor exceptional.

Our large playing fields lie in the shadow of Wolvesey Castle and the ancient city walls. We have our own swimming pool, and use of the excellent sporting facilites at Winchester College. With our Choral foundations, the School encourages musical achievement in all its pupils, but also excels in academic endeavour, sport and the arts.
