The role:

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced, and innovative experienced Head of Art to join an ambitious and successful Art department. Are you the person to stretch, challenge, support, and inspire our students in and outside of the classroom? You will play a highly visible role in the improvement of teaching and learning of all students, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning and in the subject area.

The Head of Department takes a major role in ensuring that the programmes of study within our dynamic Art Department are designated to meet statutory requirements, provide appropriate pace and challenge for all students, and include regular opportunities for assessment and review.

The successful candidate will have outstanding knowledge, a good work ethic that focuses on student outcomes, with a deep commitment to on-going formative assessment, and eager to engage appropriate CPD.
