A fantastic opportunity to work in an outstanding department. We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dynamic Head of Biology (with additional Science responsibilities) for September 2022, to teach across the key stages. Ability to teach KS5 is essential.

Our most recent Ofsted in February 2020 rated the College ‘Good’ in all areas.

The successful candidate would be a passionate and dynamic teacher of Biology committed to raising the achievements of our students. You will be joining a strong, enthusiastic, subject specialist team with a record of accomplishment of success:

• Ranked 25th Nationally of all Non-Selective Boys School for Progress 8 with P8 consistently positive.

• A Peter Jones Business Academy (part of a select group of schools nationally) providing exclusive resources, courses and competitions that enable all our students throughout the College to develop skills needed to be successful in their future lives. 

• Free use for staff of swimming pool and modern gym facilities

As an important core subject Science, Biology is very popular at KS5. We also offer Triple Science at KS4.  The successful applicant will be passionate about the subject, be well organised and willing to go the “extra mile” to ensure pupils achieve.
