We are seeking a well-qualified, highly skilled and ambitious Head of Boarding to lead the Boarding Team. This is a great opportunity for a talented individual to lead the School’s pastoral strategies and secure the highest quality care and wellbeing for every pupil. While the role would suit a current Head of Boarding we are keen to attract applicants whose experience will not, as yet, cover all aspects of the role. We will provide the training and 1-1 mentoring to support the development of skills needed at this level.
This is a key role in the development of a growing school and in ensuring and supporting the welfare, safety and happiness of the boarders. Boarding at Roedean is growing each year with over 300 full, weekly and flexi-boarders from September 2017. This position will also include a role as part of the Roedean Group of Schools.
We want to hear from passionate, considerate and academically-minded individuals with the enthusiasm, experience and energy to ensure that every pupil succeeds and gets the support and encouragement they need. The post holder will also have the communication skills and insight to build strong relationships with all the boarders in their care in order to ensure all their needs are met.
Salary will be based on the Roedean Leadership Scale.
