Located in Zona Sul, close to the centre of Rio de Janeiro, the Botafogo Site caters for 720 students, aged from 2 to 12 years and boasts excellent and expanding teaching and learning facilities.  From the main playground, Corcovado and the Christ the Redeemer statue dominate the skyline and the school’s educational offering draws upon the vibrant cultural influences of the city surrounding it.

The British School, Rio de Janeiro is one of Latin America’s leading co-educational, non-profit, independent day schools spread across 3 sites with 2,160 students, aged 2 to 18 years.  The school offers the IPC and National Curriculum to KS3, leading to IGCSE and IB Diploma and is accredited by the Council of International Schools. 

The Board of Governors and the Director now invite applications for the post of Head of Botafogo Site from August 2019.

The British School, Rio de Janeiro (TBS), educates over 2000 students from the ages of 2 to 18 years within its three school sites across the city.
