Head of Boys' Games

Required for September 2022, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivational teacher to lead, manage and develop the Boys’ PE and Games department and programme to deliver the Academic PE, Core PE and the Games programme in a busy and successful department.

The successful candidate will maintain the highest standards of teaching and learning possible throughout the PE and Games programme by monitoring and leading by example, being accountable for the pupil progress in PE and Games.

The department prides itself on its academic delivery of A-level, GCSE and BTEC (level 2 and 3) and so the ability to teach academic Physical Education at the highest level is essential. Games’ afternoons play a major role in the development of Princethorpe pupils and therefore candidates should be able to coach at least one major sport throughout the academic year and be fully committed to fixtures on a Saturday morning. 

Single accommodation may be available. Princethorpe has its own pay scale which is above national scales.
