REPORTING TO: Head of Faculty

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Studies and Economics to lead a department of 2 staff, in the delivery of both subjects at GCSE and A level. The department benefits from experienced teachers with shared vision and commitment to continuous school improvement.

The department produces exceptional outcomes and has a pivotal role in inspiring and challenging our students to succeed. To be successful for this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of teaching Economics to a demonstrably high standard.

The successful Head of Business and Economics will be a highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individual, who is committed to extracurricular life of the Business Studies and Economics department. 

An open mind, being receptive to new ideas and challenges with a willingness to contribute to all areas of school life will be essential alongside a commitment to self-improvement.
