We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic Head of Business Studies who has a proven track record of raising achievement in Business Studies at KS4 and KS5. The appointed person will manage and lead a strong team, will continue to improve attainment across all Key Stages and have a vision for future developments in Business Studies.
Ernest Bevin College is an 11-19 boys school with a mixed sixth form of 350 students based in state of the art buildings especially in STEM subjects, and with good transport links. Our last Ofsted inspection in October 2011 judged the school to be OUTSTANDING.
In 2017, 63% of pupils obtained both English and Maths at GCSE at Grade 4+, 33% obtained the Ebacc at Grade 4+ and over a 100 pupils out of a cohort of 150 went to University, 60 in STEM related subjects. We are an Elite Sports College competing at national level in a range of sports. We are one of only 4 schools in the country to have been awarded STEM status, the only school in London to have a Combined Cadet Force on site and we have recently formed a Cricket Academy in partnership with Twenty20 Community Cricket.
