Head of Chemistry

The Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified Head of Chemistry to this selective school - four times judged OUTSTANDING by OFSTED and found to be outstanding in a Diocesan Inspection in December 2018.

The successful candidate will lead a vibrant Chemistry Department within a thriving Science Department and will teach from Year 7 to Sixth Form.

GCSE and A Level Chemistry courses are well established and examination results are outstanding.  The majority of students at KS4 opt for Separate Sciences and Chemistry is amongst the most popular and successful of subjects at A Level.  This post would ideally suit someone who would enjoy teaching well-motivated and intelligent pupils in an academic school which is committed to the ideals of Catholic education.
