Job overview

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Head of Chemistry to join us in September 2021. The  role would involve teaching across KS3,4 and 5 in our friendly and ambitious department, as well as leading and developing staff within the department. The Chemistry department forms part of a wider Science faculty including 8 teaching staff and  3 technicians based in recently refurbished and superbly resourced labs. For the right candidate there could be the opportunity in due course to be considered for the role of Head of Science.

Rendcomb College is a successful co-educational HMC day and boarding school in the Cotswolds and this is a wonderful opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational candidate to join the College at an exciting time of change. We have just been shortlisted for 2 awards at the TES Independent School Awards 2021, including the prestigious Boarding School of the Year award.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher and have a keen interest in teaching and learning. They will be expected to make a significant contribution to the future direction and success of the School and an ability and willingness to contribute to the full and broad-ranging life of a busy day and boarding school.
