We are seeking a dynamic Head of Chemistry to join our well-resourced, committed and innovative Science Faculty.

Reporting to our Head of Science, you will teach Chemistry at GCSE and A Level, and take responsibility of our Chemistry Department. In this capacity, you will support and mentor our teachers and technicians, whilst promoting the importance and value of Chemistry within our school.

To succeed, you should have the ability to inspire and motivate pupils through a diverse range of learning styles. You should also be keen to assist with our large range of extra-curricular activities as these are an important aspect of our dynamic and vibrant school.

Here at the Harrodian School, we want all students to develop a love of learning in a happy and engaging school environment. Set in 25 acres of ground with excellent facilities, our pupils are encouraged to become confident and independent thinkers and are supported by specialist teachers to provide them with a challenging and stimulating education. About The Harrodian School

The Harrodian School is a mixed, non-denominational all-through independent day school situated in Barnes, South West London. The Harrodian School was founded by Lady Eliana and Sir Alford Houston-Boswell and opened in 1993. The school’s original intake of 65 students has expanded to over 900 students from the ages of 4-18. It offers state-of-the-art facilities, including a music centre, drama studios and expansive grounds.
