Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Department with the determination to sustain and develop Classics within the curriculum and culture of the school as a whole.  This is an opportunity to lead a well established Department in a school where Latin and Classics are taught to all Year 7 pupils and then groups in all years including A level. 

The successful candidate must have strong leadership and management ability, be committed to high standards for students and staff, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a willingness to take part in Department and whole school events.

This is an opportunity to contribute significantly to the continuing success of the school.
