Why join us?
Woodbridge School is one of the top academic schools in Suffolk, located in a beautiful part of the county, yet only one hour 20 minutes from London. As a school, we are very aware that all our pupils will need the skills and attributes to thrive in an ever more competitive world. This means excellent academic achievement, and it is a given that they will receive that at Woodbridge, but academic results alone are not enough. It also means developing empathy, creativity and self-confidence to ensure our pupils emerge happy, confident, well-balanced young men and women.
Woodbridge School has high expectations of its staff but are rewarded with longer holidays than the maintained sector (term time is only 34 weeks). All teachers are offered membership of the Teachers’ pension scheme and class sizes are small. There is ample opportunity to take on extra responsibility for staff who wish to. Fee remission is also available for staff with children who wish to attend Woodbridge School from pre-prep through to the Senior School. Woodbridge is a set in lovely grounds with extensive sporting facilities. All staff enjoy free parking and free lunches (in term time). It is a happy school to work in and Suffolk provides a good quality of life.
