We are looking for a highly motivated, creative and inspiring Head of Computer Science and academy E-Safety lead. We are a friendly, oversubscribed, vibrant 11-18 Academy, serving a multi-cultural community, rich with ethnic and linguistic diversity.

Due to the promotion of the current post holder, we are now seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner with the ability to lead the delivery of Computer Science at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will be a dedicated and committed leader, able to drive academic progress and lead the whole Academy on developing E-Safety, working with all key stakeholders in this important area of safeguarding.

George Salter Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in the West Midlands, serving students from the age of 11-19. The secondary school, situated in Sandwell has approximately 1,220 students on record. It is sponsored by the Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT).
