Townley Grammar School is one of the top 100 schools in the country. We are a multicultural girls' selective school with specialism in Performing and Visual Arts with Mathematics and Computing with boys in the Sixth Form. We are looking to recruit and extraordinary, passionate, and inspirational Head of Computer Science to manage a well-resourced, highly skilled, and successful department that is part of a wider STEM cluster. Computing is taught to all students in Key Stage 3 and is one of the most popular subjects at Key Stage 4 and 5. This would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced teacher to begin their next step in their teaching career in a department who values team work and a friendly working environment. You will be joining a highly motivated and passionate group of staff who work tirelessly in the best interests of the students. Staff development is central to everything we do and you will receive weekly CPD sessions as well as designated department time to work collaboratively with the computer science team. We welcome applications from either experienced teachers or current Curriculum Leaders and candidate must have the ability to teach all key stage to A level.
