Tes is supporting the appointment of a Head of Computing and ICT Studies with a specialism of Computer Science, for a 11-18 academy in North Yorkshire.

The Computer Science Department encompasses a range of Computer Science skills at Key Stage 3, with Computer Science at Key Stage 4 and Computer Science & ICT at Key Stage 5. You will be supported by the Director of Computer Science allowing you to lead strategically, whilst having the support from the Director. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to lead a progressive department and be pivotal in shaping the future.
You should possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference and have a firm love of your subject and a desire to support young people to reach their full potential. You will contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition, optimism, celebration and mutual support in the school which promotes equality within, and values the diversity of the school community.
