Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and well-qualified graduate to lead the further development of Computer Science at the College.
Computer Science has grown substantially in recent years, with strong recruitment at GCSE level and an increasing number of Marlburians taking the subject through to A Level and then on to further study at university. We are looking for an enthusiast with the capacity to inspire a love for the subject in young minds and who has the academic credentials to open up new horizons for our most able pupils. The successful candidate will have broad scope to shape the future of the subject in our curriculum, most notably through a significant contribution to the College’s exciting Innovation Centre project.
The successful candidate will be expected to become involved in College life beyond the classroom, and to contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular provision that lies at the heart of a busy full boarding school. They will be provided with accommodation, paid a competitive salary, and given support for continuing professional development.
