We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Computing and ICT teacher who has experience of teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher who is looking for the opportunity to lead others and to make an impact in raising standards.

In leading the department you will monitor and support the overall progress and development of students, provide a motivating and structured learning experience to help students achieve their potential and contribute significantly to raising standards of students’ attainment as a teacher and form tutor.

Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school situated on the outskirts of St. Albans. The school is a vibrant place of activity, inclusivity and kindness which allows children to flourish and grow in confidence. Our recent Ofsted inspection grading of a ‘Good’ acknowledged the rapid improvements that have been made in the school over the last two years. In order to continue building on these successes we are looking to appoint an excellent Head of Department, who is committed to ensuring children enjoy learning and achieve to the best of their ability.

Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school with sixth form situated in St Albans, Hertfordshire. It is also part of The Diocese of Westminster Academy Trust (DOWAT), which sponsors eleven faith schools in the Diocese of Westminster.

The School's last Ofsted Inspection in November 2023 rated Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School as 'Outstanding'.
